Heroes

Take on one of these roles to take down the Boss.
Tank2If brute strength is your forte, you might take on the of a meatshield, one who protects his allies. The Dwarf Tank is specially suited to this role. A master of the sword and board, his low center of gravity and affinity for shields make him almost untouchable. The Human Monk is a zenlike blend of strength and wisdom, gaining more power over his adversaries with every moment that passes in battle. Or maybe the Half-Orc Brawler is more your speed. Wielding larger-than-life weapons in each hand, the Brawler can turn his own pain into his foe’s utter devestation.
Spearmaiden2If you prefer cunning and adaptability, the Half-Elf Gunsmith is a skilled and versatile marksman who crafts his firearms by hand, including a custom bolt-action pistol that can fire multiple times without reloading.  The Dwarf Spearmaiden uses a fine balance of strength and skill to pierce her foes from a relatively safe distance, often eliminating multiple Imps with a single thrust. And the Elf Medic is never too busy to inflict jabs of painful medicines and tonics to keep her friends alive, so she can mercilessly pester them.

Sorceress2Perhaps you value knowledge and wisdom. The young Half-Elf Sorceress is a magical prodigy who won her first magical duel before the age of 10, and without any formal training. Or, if you prefer not to get your hands dirty, the Gnome Summoner excels at calling forth imps and goblins to serve his own will. His reliance on such lesser creatures makes him weak on his own, but he is still not to be underestimated.
Cleric2If the power of faith compels you, both sides of the coin are represented. Righteous authority guides the Human Cleric, a man whose actions (and giant hammer) are guided by God, not gold. His compassion makes him an invaluable companion.  The Human Necromancer walks a darker path, using unholy rituals to gain the upper hand. He hides his face with paint and wears long, flowing robes to conceal the decay his practice causes to grow and fester on his skin.
Necromancer2A word of caution: Choose your friends wisely, because any one of them can use his or her assets against the party’s ambition, and lead you all to an early grave. You could always respawn, but after a gank like that, you just know your corpse will be camped.
